Terms & Conditions for Metro Curbside Transport

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Metro Curbside Transport’s curbside bin services and website (www.metrocurbsidetransport.com). By subscribing to or using our services, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

​

Metro Curbside Transport (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides curbside transport of trash and recycling bins to and from the curb on designated collection days. Services are limited to the service address provided at the time of subscription and are subject to local collection schedules.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

​

  • Services are offered by monthly subscription, paid in advance.

  • Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of subscription and will renew automatically each billing cycle unless canceled.

  • Customers are responsible for maintaining current and valid payment information.

  • Service fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle begins (see Refund Policy).
     

3. Customer Responsibilities

 

To ensure service delivery, customers agree to:

  • Make bins readily accessible and free from obstructions by 2:00 AM on the designated service day.

  • Ensure bins are not locked, behind gates, or in inaccessible areas.

  • Maintain safe access for our team (free of hazards such as aggressive pets, blocked pathways, overhanging hazards, or unsafe conditions).

  • Garage Access: Customers who select the Premier Concierge Retrieval must provide valid access instructions (keypad code, lockbox, or equivalent). By doing so, they assume all risk for allowing entry. The Company’s responsibility is limited strictly to bin retrieval and rollout.

  • Pathway Clearance: Customers must ensure a clear, unobstructed path out of the garage to the curb (no cars blocking, no objects in the way).

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in a missed service without refund or credit.

4. Service Interruptions

 

We are not responsible for interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, municipal schedule changes, strikes, or natural disasters. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to adjust service but cannot guarantee rescheduling.

5. Cancellations

​

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at support@metrocurbsidetransport.com or 515-375-2220.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month.

  • Upon cancellation, service will continue through the end of the current billing period.
     

6. Refund Policy

​

Refunds are governed by our published Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. In summary: payments are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started, but service credits may be issued at our discretion if we fail to deliver service within our control.

7. Garage Access Waiver

​

By providing Metro Curbside Transport with access codes, keys, or instructions for secured property entry, you authorize the Company and its contractors to access your garage solely for the purpose of retrieving and returning your trash and recycling bins. You agree the Company is not responsible for any property conditions unrelated to bin service. You release and indemnify the Company from any claims related to garage access, except for willful misconduct.

8. Limitation of Liability

​​

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metro Curbside Transport is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Our total liability for any claim related to service is limited to the amount you paid in the current subscription period.

  • We are not responsible for damage to bins, property, or personal injury resulting from improper bin placement, inadequate access space, or unsafe conditions outside of our control.
     

9. Indemnification


You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Metro Curbside Transport, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the service or failure to comply with these Terms.
 

10. Changes to Service or Terms

We may update these Terms and/or modify or discontinue services at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Iowa.
